OUR COMMITMENT TO DANCERS & FAMILIES

At the Event
THEATRE OPENS 1 hour prior to start of the program
THEATRE CLOSES 30 minutes after final awards ends

ADMISSION is FREE for all dancers, friends, family, teachers and members of the general public.

ARRIVAL Dancers should be onsite & ready to perform at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled performance time (one hour is recommended). Please check in with your teacher on arrival.

CHANGE ROOMS & REHEARSAL HALL Shared rehearsal space and dressing rooms are available. Please be courteous to fellow dancers and feel free to make new friends.

SCHEDULING We may run ahead of schedule so be ready to perform 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time.

AWARDS Dancers are required to come backstage in costume for awards near the end of each session. We encourage dancers & audience members to support and cheer for ALL dancers, not just those from their own studio, community or discipline.

FAMILY FRIENDLY RULE We require all entries to be appropriate for a family audience. Adjudicators may check a box for any routine they feel is inappropriate. Each checked box leads to a 2 point deduction with a disqualification if all 3 adjudicators check the box.

NO VIDEO OR PHOTOGRAPHY in the auditorium. We have a strict policy on electronic devices in the auditorium during performances. This is out of respect for the dancers onstage & members of the audience as well as for the safety and security of all performers. Use of cameras, phones & other devices may result in disqualification except when permitted by the MC during awards.

PHOTO & VIDEO is available for purchase in the lobby or online: DRCVideo.com/ DanceSnaps.com
