Shine’s special atmosphere is the backdrop for a positive & encouraging competition experience where dancers have fun backstage, on stage and at awards. At Shine Dance Festival we have divisions & categories so dancers compete with others at the same age & ability level. Our judges are qualified dance professionals who have a passion for sharing their knowledge & experience with young dancers.

Shine Dance Festival adjudicators are highly qualified dance professionals with a wealth of experience that includes teaching children. We use 2 adjudicators and an average score to determine medal standing. Every dancer receives a medal and every entry will receive a medal based on its score. A fast, high quality learning tool, DVD adjudication by Video Judge allows dancers to see what adjudicator’s comments refer to while providing a video collection for your studio archives.
